West Valley Women Veterans builds community among women who have served by fostering meaningful connections, celebrating military service, creating opportunities to continue serving, developing leaders, and connecting women veterans with resources that help them thrive beyond the military.
Our Mission

We envision a community where every woman veteran feels seen, valued, connected, and empowered to continue making a meaningful impact long after her military service has ended.
Our Vision

Every program is designed with purpose. Guided by six core program pillars, we create meaningful opportunities for women veterans to build connections, strengthen sisterhood, share new experiences, grow as leaders, honor their service, and put their purpose into action.
Our Approach
West Valley Women Veterans is a peer-led community serving women veterans throughout the Greater Phoenix area. We believe military service brings us together, but community is what keeps us connected.
We create opportunities for women veterans to build friendships, grow as leaders, give back, and connect with valuable resources through events, volunteer projects, and educational programs.
No matter your branch, era of service, or background, you’ll find a welcoming community where you can connect, grow, and continue making a difference.
The Impact We Strive to Create
Every brunch, volunteer project, workshop, adventure, and recognition event is intentionally designed to strengthen community and create lasting impact. Together, these experiences help women veterans:
-
Build meaningful friendships that foster belonging and reduce isolation.
-
Continue serving their communities through volunteerism and civic engagement.
-
Discover new experiences that inspire confidence, resilience, and joy.
