Our Mission

The mission of West Valley Women Veterans is to build community among women who have served by fostering meaningful connections, celebrating military service, creating opportunities to continue serving, developing leaders, and connecting women veterans with resources that help them thrive beyond the military.

The Origin Story

West Valley Women Veterans began with a simple realization: while military service creates lifelong bonds, too many women veterans leave the military without a community to continue those connections.

Founder Jessica Roza experienced that transition firsthand and recognized the need for a place where women veterans could find friendship, purpose, and belonging.

What started as a casual brunch with just three women veterans has grown into a thriving organization dedicated to building meaningful connections, continuing service, developing leaders, and strengthening communities throughout Arizona.

Today, every event, partnership, and program reflects the same belief that inspired its founding: no woman veteran should have to navigate life after military service alone.
